Paladins of the West Kingdom
Paladins of the West Kingdom explained: recruit workers, choose a Paladin each round, raise faith, strength and influence, build defenses and confront outsiders.
Draft workers and select one Paladin each round to shape a personal worker-placement puzzle built around faith, strength and influence.
Different actions require combinations of worker colors and attribute thresholds, so efficient sequencing matters more than simply collecting resources.
Why We Love It
Paladins creates a dense personal-board puzzle where one action can raise the attribute needed to unlock the next. Good turns feel like carefully planned chains rather than isolated placements.
About Paladins of the West Kingdom
Each round, players choose a Paladin with a temporary ability and attribute bonuses, then draft workers from tavern cards.

Rules overview
Each round, choose one Paladin and draft a group of workers. Place workers on your board to take actions, with color requirements and attribute thresholds governing what is available. Actions can build fortifications and outposts, commission monks, confront outsiders and improve faith, strength and influence. King’s Orders and King’s Favors change priorities during the seven-round game. Final scoring combines multiple action tracks and card effects.
Key decisions
Editorial analysis: Plan backward from the attribute thresholds you want to reach. A Paladin is strongest when both its temporary ability and its attribute boosts unlock several linked actions in the same round.
