Teotihuacan Eclipse Scoring: Pyramid, Avenue, Masks & Salary
Teotihuacan scores three Eclipses. Several categories repeat, while the final Eclipse adds Temple Bonus scoring and ends the game.
Avenue of the Dead
Find the lowest visible number on the Buildings row. Score that number for each step you have advanced on the Avenue of the Dead.
Pyramid-track leader: 4 VP
The player or tied players furthest ahead on the Pyramid track receive the 4-point leader bonus.
Pyramid-track steps
Score each Pyramid-track step at 4 VP during the first Eclipse, 3 VP during the second and 2 VP during the third. Then reset the Pyramid track after scoring.
Mask sets
Arrange masks into sets of different symbols. A set of 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 distinct masks scores 1/3/6/10/15/21/28 VP.
Worker salary
Pay 1 cocoa per worker plus 1 extra cocoa for each power-4 or power-5 worker. Lose 3 VP for every cocoa you cannot or choose not to pay, without dropping below zero.
Final Eclipse: Temple Bonus tiles
During the third/final Eclipse, players who reached the qualifying penultimate or top temple steps score the Temple Bonus tiles they unlocked.
Winner and ties
After the final Eclipse, highest VP wins. Ties are broken by most remaining cocoa, then the lower-numbered Player Order token.
