Jenga Block Removal Rules: One Hand, Legal Levels & Turn End
Jenga does not allow you to pull a block from just anywhere. The legal-removal rule is tied to the highest completed story.
Which blocks can you remove?
Choose one block from any level below the highest completed three-block story. The current top completed layer is therefore protected from removal.
Use only one hand
You may switch hands whenever you like, but only one hand can be used at a time while removing and stacking.
Can you touch blocks to test them?
Yes. The rules allow you to touch blocks to find a loose one.
What if you move a block and change your mind?
If you move a block out of place, you must fix it using one hand before touching another block.
One block per turn
Remove and stack exactly one block on your turn.
When is your move safe?
Your turn ends 10 seconds after you stack the block, or immediately when the player to your left touches a block.
