Hansa Teutonica Big Box
Hansa Teutonica Big Box explained: claim trade routes, establish offices, improve merchant abilities, displace rivals and build a scoring network across three maps.
Compete as Hanseatic merchants by occupying trade routes, establishing offices in cities and improving the abilities on your personal board.
Blocking is central: displaced pieces return with compensation, so even being pushed off a route can create new tactical opportunities.
Why We Love It
Hansa Teutonica is interactive without relying on combat or hidden cards. Nearly every strong move changes the route geometry or action economy for someone else.

Rules overview
Each turn provides a limited number of actions. Place or move traders and merchants, displace opposing pieces, or complete an occupied route. Completing a route can establish an office, improve a personal ability or trigger other benefits. Office networks, developed abilities, bonus markers and specific city positions contribute to final scoring.
Key decisions
Editorial analysis: Early ability upgrades are valuable, but over-investing can surrender the map. The best blocks force opponents to spend tempo while placing your own pieces where displacement compensation remains useful.
