Takenoko Objectives & Scoring: Plot, Panda, Gardener and Emperor
Takenoko scores completed objective cards plus the 2-point Emperor card awarded to the player who first triggers the endgame.
Plot objectives
These score when the shared garden contains the exact required arrangement of colored, irrigated plots shown on the card.
Gardener objectives
These score from bamboo towers of the required color, height and plot/improvement condition shown on the card.
Panda objectives
These require you to return the depicted eaten bamboo sections from your personal supply to the reserve. Once completed, the objective remains scored.
End-game thresholds
- 2 players: 9 completed objectives
- 3 players: 8 completed objectives
- 4 players: 7 completed objectives
The first player to reach the threshold takes the Emperor card for 2 bonus points. Every other player then receives one final turn.
Highest objective total wins
Add all completed objective values and the Emperor card if you earned it. If tied, the player with the most points from Panda objectives wins; if still tied, the victory is shared.
