Bunny Kingdom Strategy: Drafting, Fief Shape & Resource Diversity

Bunny Kingdom rewards multiplication, not simple accumulation. A fief with high Strength but poor Wealth—or many Resources but no city towers—leaves points on the table. Good strategy is therefore about building balanced multipliers while drafting cards that also deny obvious rival connections.

1. Improve both sides of the multiplier

Because a fief scores Strength × Wealth, raising the smaller factor can be more valuable than pushing the larger factor higher. If a fief already has several towers but only two resource types, adding a new Resource may outperform another city.

2. Connect before you specialize

Two modest areas can become one strong scoring engine when a single Territory joins them. Connection cards can therefore be worth far more than their printed map space suggests.

3. Draft scarce resources aggressively

Wealth counts different Resource types. When your main fief lacks one category that appears only in a few reachable spaces or Buildings, those cards become priority picks.

4. Watch what you pass

The draft provides information. If a neighboring player is visibly building around one region, repeatedly passing them the exact coordinates, city support or resources they need may create a runaway fief. Sometimes a defensive pick is worth more than a marginal card for your own board.

5. Place Buildings for future connectivity

A Building is not just its immediate output. Its location can strengthen a fief you expect to merge later. Avoid locking an important Building into an isolated territory if a central placement could support several future connection paths.

6. Value early scoring more than late scoring

A strong fief built in round one can score four times. The same improvement found in round four scores only once. Early cities and new resource types therefore deserve a tempo premium.

7. Keep Parchments compatible with the board

Secret missions are strongest when they reward what your map position already wants to do. Do not contort a productive four-round scoring engine for a small end-game mission unless the points clearly justify it.

8. Use the final round differently

In round four there is no future Harvest after the current one. Draft cards for immediate multiplication, final connectivity and Parchment completion rather than for long-term flexibility.

9. Calculate marginal value, not card category

A Territory can be worth zero, a few points or dozens depending on whether it connects fiefs. A Building can have the same swing. Evaluate the change in total scoring, not whether the card says Territory, City or Resource.

10. Preserve multiple connection routes

If your entire plan depends on one coordinate, an opponent can derail it with a single draft pick. Build shapes that can connect through several spaces whenever possible.

Common strategic mistakes

  • Overbuilding Strength while Wealth stays low.
  • Collecting duplicate Resources that do not increase Wealth.
  • Ignoring an opponent’s obvious bridge Territory.
  • Saving too much construction value for late rounds.
  • Chasing a Parchment objective that damages repeated Harvest scoring.
