Don’t Break the Ice Strategy: Safer Blocks, Tapping & Balance

Don’t Break the Ice rewards basic structural judgment and careful physical control.

Look for lightly loaded blocks

Blocks near open edges or existing gaps often carry less of the figure’s weight than blocks directly beneath the center.

Create gaps away from the figure

Removing support close to the Iceman increases risk. When possible, work outward before attacking the area underneath him.

Use repeated light taps

Controlled taps reduce vibration across the frame. A hard strike can dislodge neighboring blocks that were otherwise stable.

Watch the whole surface

Do not focus only on the block being hit. Movement in nearby blocks is an early warning that the structure is close to failing.
