Grand Austria Hotel
Grand Austria Hotel explained: draft dice actions, attract guests, serve food and drinks, prepare rooms, manage staff and earn imperial favor in Vienna.
Run a Viennese hotel by using a shared pool of dice to take actions, welcome guests, serve their orders and move them into prepared rooms.
Staff cards and emperor scoring create long-term direction, while the strength of each dice action changes as other players remove dice from the pool.
Why We Love It
The dice pool creates an elegant timing problem: taking an action now may be weaker, but waiting can make it stronger—or let another player remove the dice you needed.

Rules overview
At the start of a round, dice are rolled and grouped by value. On your turn, take a guest if desired, then choose one die and perform its associated action with strength based on how many dice of that value remain. Actions provide food, drinks, money, staff, rooms and emperor progress. Satisfied guests move from the café into matching prepared rooms. Scoring combines occupied rooms, guests, staff, objectives and emperor results.
Key decisions
Editorial analysis: Guest selection should match both your current food supply and your room plan. Strong staff cards can justify an early investment, but only if they will trigger enough times before the game ends.
