Darwin’s Journey Scoring: Museum, Exploration, Objectives & Letters

Darwin’s Journey awards points during play and adds multiple development tracks at the end of round five.

Museum scoring

Specimen deliveries advance museum progress and award points/bonuses according to the museum board. Final positions can contribute additional value.

Exploration

Explorer position, reached locations and qualifying island objectives contribute to final scoring under the base rules.

Round and personal objectives

Score completed objectives at their indicated timing. Some objectives reward development during the round; others contribute at the end.

Correspondence

Letters and stamps can create ongoing benefits and end-game scoring based on the correspondence system’s completed sets/positions.

Worker development

Discipline progress can matter indirectly through objectives, unlocked actions and any printed final-scoring effects tied to trained workers.

Final resources and card effects

Apply any remaining base-game end conversions and printed final bonuses.

Winner

Add all final categories to points earned during the five rounds. Highest score wins.
