Railroad Ink: Deep Blue Scoring – Exits, Routes, Center & Errors
The base game ends after round 7 and scores five main categories before optional expansion points.
Connected Exits
For each separate Network, count how many board Exits it connects and score that quantity using the printed network-value table. Larger connected groups scale sharply upward in value.
Longest Highway
Score 1 point for each space in your single longest unbroken Highway branch. Loops and branches do not let you count the same space twice.
Longest Railway
Score the single longest Railway using the same one-point-per-space method.
Central spaces
Score 1 point for each of the nine central spaces containing any Route.
Errors
Lose 1 point for every Route end that connects to neither another compatible Route nor the outer edge of the board. Mark each Error before totaling the score.
River and Lake expansion points are separate
If using a Deep Blue expansion module, add its scoring in the expansion box on the board. Do not apply River/Lake scoring to a base-only game.
Most points wins
If tied, the tied player with fewer Error marks wins. If still tied, the victory is shared.
