Star Wars: Rebellion Victory & Hidden Base Rules

Star Wars: Rebellion uses different victory conditions for the two sides.

Imperial victory

The Empire wins by locating the Rebel base and eliminating the required Rebel presence there under the base-game combat and base rules.

Rebel victory

The Rebels win when their reputation marker reaches the time marker through objective scoring and the normal round progression.

Probe cards

Probe cards eliminate systems from the search. The Empire can use the information directly; the Rebels can use knowledge of what has been probed to judge whether relocation is necessary.

Rebel base space

The hidden base corresponds to a system on the map unless relocated. Units may occupy the Rebel base space while remaining off-map until the base is revealed or the rules require interaction.

Revealing the base

The base can be revealed by Imperial discovery or by specific Rebel choices/effects. Once revealed, it becomes a conventional military target.

Relocating the base

The Rebels can use the legal relocation procedure to choose a new eligible system. Relocation sacrifices tempo but can reset Imperial certainty.
