Tzolk’in Scoring & Food Days: Temples, Monuments and Feeding
Tzolk’in uses four Food Days as checkpoints. They combine worker feeding with either resource rewards or temple scoring, culminating in the final scoring sequence.
Feed workers on every Food Day
Pay the required corn for your workers, reduced by any farms or effects that lower feeding cost. Shortages cause the penalty specified by the rules.
Brown Food Days provide production rewards
On the resource-oriented Food Days, your current positions on the temple tracks provide the printed rewards before play continues.
Blue Food Days score temple positions
On scoring Food Days, temple track positions award VP according to the printed values. The final Food Day includes the larger end-game temple comparison/rewards defined by the board.
Monuments score at game end
Add VP from monuments you constructed. Each monument uses its own printed formula, often referencing technologies, buildings, resources or other development choices.
Other final conversions
Resolve the base-game final resource/corn/skull or component conversions exactly as listed in the scoring reference, then add them to VP already earned during Food Days and play.
