Know which side of the city you want to leave from and avoid ending the midgame behind police or closed routes.

Higher notoriety can unlock value, but it also creates pressure. Raise it when the extra benefit clearly exceeds the policing cost.

Once your current cash lead or asset total is competitive, prioritize a guaranteed exit over one more risky pickup.
