How to Play Escape Plan: Assets, Notoriety & the Getaway
Escape Plan is a route-planning and risk-management game about recovering hidden loot and getting out of the city before the police close in.
Scope: Eagle-Gryphon base game; solo-specific rules excluded.
Move through the city
On your turn, travel between connected locations, paying or resolving movement effects where required.
Recover assets
Visit locations tied to your hidden cash and asset tiles to convert them into money or future scoring potential.
Use businesses and safe houses
City locations provide equipment, healing, contacts, income and route options. Some also help reduce risk or improve your final escape.
Manage notoriety
Notoriety affects police pressure and access to some benefits. High notoriety can be profitable but makes movement and survival harder.
Police and wounds
Police officers, patrols and wounds restrict efficient routes. Use equipment, contacts and tactical movement to avoid being trapped.
Gangs and contacts
Recruitable effects can protect routes, improve income or create special actions. Use them to solve a concrete movement or scoring problem.
Exit the city
Exit tiles become the final objective. You must reach and pay for a legal exit before the game ends for your recovered wealth to count fully.
