Sell expensive goods before their top tokens disappear
Diamond, gold and silver stacks begin with high-value tokens. Holding them for a larger set can earn a bonus, but waiting too long may let the opponent take the best guaranteed values first.
Use camels to reshape the market
Taking all camels replaces several visible cards at once, creating a fresh market. This is strongest when the current non-camel market is poor for you or when you can force the opponent to reveal cards before your next exchange.
Do not take all camels if the refill will obviously reward the opponent
A camel sweep gives you trading flexibility but also reveals several new market cards before the opponent acts. When the deck is rich in desirable goods and your opponent has hand space, the timing can be dangerous.
Exchanges create hidden tempo
A good exchange takes multiple useful goods in one turn without increasing the market unpredictably as much as repeated single-card pickups. Camels are especially valuable because they can fund the outgoing side without occupying hand space.
Three-card bonuses are often the practical sweet spot
Larger bonuses are worth more on average, but assembling 4–5 identical goods gives the opponent time to sell first or end the round. Use the market state and remaining token values to decide whether waiting is actually profitable.
Track hand space before taking a single good
A full hand reduces your ability to exploit a strong refill. Camels avoid the hand limit and exchanges can improve hand quality, so preserve enough flexibility to respond to valuable market swings.
End the round when the visible score favors you
If three token piles are nearly empty or the deck is short, a sale can trigger the finish. Estimate your secured tokens, possible hidden bonuses and the camel majority before accelerating the end.
