Jaipur Scoring & Round End: Goods, Bonuses, Camels and Seals
Jaipur scores each round from the tokens you earned during sales plus the camel-majority bonus. The round winner receives one Seal of Excellence; the first player to collect two seals wins the match.
Goods tokens keep their printed value
When you sell goods, take tokens from the matching goods stack. At the end of the round, simply add the printed rupee values on every goods token you collected.
Large-sale bonuses add hidden value
Selling 3, 4 or 5+ cards of one goods type earns a bonus token from the corresponding stack. Keep its value hidden from your opponent during the round, then add it to your score at the end.
Camel majority earns the camel token
Compare the number of camels in each herd when the round ends. The player with more camels receives the camel bonus token and adds its printed value to the round score.
The round can end in two ways
- Three goods-token piles become empty.
- The goods deck is empty and the market cannot be refilled to five cards.
When either condition occurs, stop the round and score immediately according to the rulebook.
The richer player earns the Seal of Excellence
Add goods tokens, bonus tokens and the camel token. Higher total wins the round and takes one Seal of Excellence.
Round ties use the official token-count tiebreaks
If rupee totals tie, use the tiebreak sequence in the current rulebook, which compares bonus tokens and then goods tokens before any further tie resolution. Keep the physical token types separate until the round winner is confirmed.
First to two seals wins the match
Reset the market, token stacks and hands for a new round after a player wins their first seal. The match ends immediately when one player earns their second Seal of Excellence.
