Twister Strategy: Balance, Reach, Spot Choice & Staying Upright
Twister strategy is mostly about preserving balance while keeping as many future spots reachable as possible.
Keep your center of gravity controlled
Wide, stable positions are easier to hold than extreme reaches. Avoid shifting all your weight onto one limb unless the board forces it.
Choose the nearest useful spot
When several matching spots are open, a closer option often leaves more flexibility for future calls and reduces the chance of collapsing during the move.
Avoid unnecessary limb crossings
Crossed arms and legs can work, but they reduce your available movement paths. Stay open while you can.
Think one call ahead
Do not use your only comfortable red or blue position if it traps another limb. Good placements leave multiple reachable colors.
