Ants in the Pants Strategy: Launch Angle, Distance & Consistency
Ants in the Pants is a dexterity race, so repeatable technique matters more than conventional tactics.
Use consistent tail pressure
Pressing with the same force helps you learn the ant’s flight path. Large changes in force make correction harder.
Adjust distance before force
If ants repeatedly overshoot or fall short, change the starting position slightly rather than wildly changing the press.
Aim for the center opening
Edge hits are more likely to bounce out. A centered trajectory gives the ant a larger effective landing area.
Recover misses quickly
Because everyone plays simultaneously, wasted time retrieving distant misses can matter. Keep launches controlled enough that misses stay close.
