Ark Nova Association Action Rules: Workers, Tasks & Partner Zoos
The Association action sends Association workers to the Association board to perform one task.
How many tasks can you perform?
Normally, perform exactly one Association task when you use the action, unless an upgraded effect explicitly allows more.
Do you need an Association worker?
Yes. You need at least one active Association worker on your zoo map to perform a task.
Why do some tasks require 2 workers?
If one of your own Association workers is already on that same task space, you must place 2 workers to perform that task again. If 3 of your workers are already there, you cannot perform it again until workers return.
Do opponents’ workers increase your cost?
No. Only your own workers already on that task matter for the repeat-task worker requirement.
How does action strength matter?
Your Association action must have at least the strength shown for the chosen task.
Partner zoos
When taking a partner zoo, place it on the lowest empty partner-zoo space on your map. You cannot take the same continent twice. A third or fourth partner zoo requires the upgraded Association card.
When do workers return?
Association workers return during a Break, making those workers active again.
