Barrage Scoring, Contracts & Water Flow Explained
Barrage scores energy repeatedly across five rounds and adds final infrastructure and objective value at the end.
Energy production
Producing energy advances your marker and can qualify you for income, round scoring and contract completion.
Round scoring
Each round has a scoring condition. Compare your energy position with the requirement and apply the printed round reward.
Contracts
Contracts are completed when a qualifying production action meets their energy requirement. Resolve the contract’s printed reward immediately.
Water continues downstream
Water used in production is not destroyed. It exits the powerhouse and follows the river system, where it can later be captured or used again if infrastructure allows.
Infrastructure and objectives
Dams, elevations, conduits, powerhouses and company-specific objectives can contribute to end-game points under the base rules.
Winner
After round five and final scoring, highest VP wins.
