Beyond the Sun Achievements & Final Scoring Explained
Beyond the Sun uses achievements as both a scoring source and the game’s end timer.
Shared achievements
Achievements reward major development milestones. Once a player satisfies one, resolve its point or placement effect according to the card/tile.
End trigger
The game approaches its end when the required number of achievements has been completed. Finish the official final-turn sequence before scoring.
Technology scoring
Researched technologies and track positions can contribute final points through printed effects and end-game values.
Systems and colonies
Control and colonization on the space map provide final value under the base rules.
Faction and card effects
Add any final scoring from faction boards, technologies and other components active in the base setup.
Winner
After all end-game categories are added, highest VP wins.
