Eclipse: Second Dawn Scoring – Sectors, Reputation & Technology
Eclipse ends after round 8. Most points come from the empire you built and the reputation you earned through conflict rather than one single scoring track.
Controlled sectors
Add the VP values printed on sectors you control at the end of the game, including any special sector effects that modify scoring.
Reputation tiles
Reputation earned from battles contributes its printed VP. Because reputation capacity is limited, later tiles may replace weaker earlier results depending on the rules.
Technologies and discoveries
Some technology tracks and discovery tiles produce final VP or contribute through faction-specific effects. Score them using the iconography on your player materials.
Monoliths and special constructions
Monoliths are direct scoring investments. Other structures or faction abilities may also contribute VP at the end.
Ambassador/faction effects
Diplomatic or faction-specific components can add points under their printed conditions. Resolve these after ordinary board scoring.
Highest VP wins
Add all categories after round 8 and apply the official tiebreak sequence if needed.
