How to Play Hallertau: Workers, Fields & Community Center
Hallertau is a worker-placement farming game with a crop-rotation system and a Community Center that turns broad economic development into victory points.

Place workers
Choose an action space and pay the required number of workers. Popular spaces become more expensive as workers accumulate on them.
Cultivate fields
Sow crops into fields, then harvest them through the game’s field and fallow cycle. Field quality changes over time, so repeated planting has an opportunity cost.
Breed sheep
Sheep can produce value across rounds but require planning around capacity and timing.
Play cards
Card decks provide tasks, bonuses and scoring opportunities. Some require specific goods or development states.
Produce and convert goods
Use worker spaces and cards to generate crops, milk, meat, hides and other resources needed by the village economy.
Advance the Community Center
Move the craft-building blocks by paying the displayed goods. Progressing the Community Center is a major source of VP and development.
Game end
After the final round, score the Community Center, cards, resources and other base-game categories.
