How to Play Praga Caput Regni: Action Crane, Buildings & Landmarks
Praga Caput Regni is an action-selection eurogame where a rotating crane changes the cost/reward of six paired action tiles over time. Every player receives 16 turns in the standard game.
Scope: Delicious Games base game only.
Choose one action tile from the crane
Select an available paired action tile. Its current crane position can give a bonus or require a cost, so the same pair of actions changes value as the wheel rotates.
Resolve one or both actions
Use the selected tile to produce resources, gain/upgrade actions, build a wall, construct a building, advance the King’s Road or resolve other paired effects according to the action tile.
Buildings and walls improve your player board
Pay resources for Building or Wall tiles, place them around your personal action board and receive immediate rewards from adjacency, corner bonuses, plazas and tile icons.
Technology and Charles University interact
Technology upgrades give powers and track progress, while the Charles University track determines how much your Technology progress is worth at final scoring.
King’s Road and Charles Bridge
Advancing along the King’s Road grants rewards and can open access to Charles Bridge, bonus tiles and final-scoring effects.
Hunger Wall and St. Vitus Cathedral
Windows let you advance through the landmark grids. Upward movement improves row VP; sideways movement increases how much your blue or red corner bonus tokens score.
After 16 turns, final scoring
Resolve unfinished plazas, academic scoring, Wall/Cathedral positions, bonus tokens, wall count, final-scoring abilities and remaining eggs.
