How to Play Splendor Duel: Tokens, Cards & Privileges
Splendor Duel is a standalone two-player game with a spatial token market and three different ways to win.
Take tokens
Choose a legal line of adjacent tokens from the shared 5×5 board under the normal draft restrictions.
Buy a Jewel card
Spend tokens to purchase a card. Purchased cards provide permanent discounts and can add prestige, crowns, pearls or special effects.
Reserve a card
Reserve an available Jewel card and take gold where the rules permit.
Privileges
Privileges let you take individual tokens outside the normal line-drafting action. Opponent choices can award privileges when they refill or take certain token combinations.
Pearls
Pearls are a distinct resource required by specific cards and cannot simply be treated as another gem color.
Crowns
Crown symbols contribute to one of the game’s immediate victory routes.
Victory
The game ends immediately when a player satisfies any one of the three printed victory conditions.
