Ra Scoring Explained: Pharaohs, Nile, Civilizations & Monuments

The current 25th Century Games edition scores most categories after every epoch, while Monuments and final Sun-disk comparison are resolved only after epoch 3.

Pharaohs

After each epoch, the player or tied players with the most Pharaoh tiles gain 5 points. The player or tied players with the fewest lose 2. If everyone has the same number, nobody gains or loses points.

Nile and Flood

Each Flood tile scores 1 point. Nile tiles score 1 point each only if you have at least one Flood tile that epoch.

Civilizations

Score only your largest set of different Civilization types: 3 different types score 5, 4 score 10 and all 5 score 15. Having no Civilization tiles costs 5 points.

Gods and Gold

Each unspent God tile scores 2 points. Each Gold tile scores 3 points.

Monuments: epoch 3 only

Monuments score for both matching sets and diversity. Three, four or five identical Monument tiles score 5, 10 or 15 points. Different Monument types also score: up to six types give one point per type, while seven types score 10 and all eight score 15.

Final Sun-disk comparison

After epoch 3, add the values of all your Sun disks. Highest total gains 5 points and lowest total loses 5; ties receive the full applicable result. If everyone has the same total, no Sun points are added or lost.

Highest total after epoch 3 wins

If final points tie, the tied player holding the highest-numbered Sun disk wins under the current rules.
