How to Play Sushi Go Party!: Drafting, Menu Cards & Three Rounds
Sushi Go Party! is a simultaneous card-drafting game for 2–8 players. The selected menu changes which scoring patterns appear, but the core rhythm is always pick one card, reveal it, pass the hand and repeat.
Choose the menu before dealing
Select the dish sets for the game using a recommended menu or the menu-building rules. Place the matching menu tiles on the board so everyone can see exactly how each dish scores.
Deal a hand to every player
Hand size depends on player count. Keep your hand secret and evaluate both your current scoring plan and what nearby players are collecting.
Choose one card simultaneously
Each player selects one card from hand and places it face down. Reveal chosen cards together and resolve any immediate effects that alter drafting or card placement.
Pass the remaining hand
Pass every unchosen card in the direction indicated for that round, then repeat the process with the new hand until every card has been drafted.
Score the round’s dishes
Resolve each active dish according to its menu tile. Some dishes score sets, some compare quantities between players, some multiply other cards and some provide special timing or drafting effects.
Dessert can persist across rounds
Dessert cards use their own menu-specific timing and commonly remain relevant across multiple rounds before final scoring. Follow the chosen dessert tile rather than treating it like a normal round-only appetizer.
Play three rounds
After the third round, resolve any final dessert scoring and add all points. Highest score wins.
