Viscounts Poverty, Prosperity & Final Scoring Explained
Viscounts uses two shared card piles/tracks—Poverty and Prosperity—to create a player-driven endgame.
Poverty and Prosperity
Debt and deed effects move the game toward one of the two end conditions. When the required pile/condition is exhausted or triggered, follow the base-game final-turn procedure.
Buildings
Workshops, trading posts and guild halls provide final value through printed scoring and board position.
Castle
Resolve final castle presence and majority scoring under the base rules.
Manuscripts
Completed manuscript sets and printed bonuses contribute VP.
Debts and deeds
Flipped and unflipped debt/deed states can add rewards or penalties depending on the endgame condition.
Winner
Highest final VP wins after all categories are resolved.
