Rules overview
Reveal one status card and auction it. For normal luxury or prestige cards, players increase bids by adding money cards until only one bidder remains; the winner discards the money they committed. Disgrace cards use a reverse pressure structure. The game ends when the fourth dark-green card appears. Reveal remaining money, eliminate the poorest player or players, then compare status among everyone else.
Key decisions
Editorial analysis: Budget against the table, not against a fixed price. A luxury that seems cheap can still be too expensive if it pushes you below another player’s likely remaining cash. Keep flexible money-card combinations so you are not forced into inefficient overbids later.
