Rules overview
In phase one, reveal a set of properties and conduct an auction. Players who pass take the lowest remaining property and recover part of their bid under the rules; the final bidder gets the highest property. In phase two, reveal currency cards equal to player count. Everyone secretly chooses one property, reveals together, and the highest property takes the highest currency card, continuing in rank order.
Key decisions
Editorial analysis: Do not overspend simply to win the top property. Relative spread matters: if the best and second-best properties are close, paying much more may not be efficient. In the selling phase, save top properties for rounds where the currency spread is large.
