Rules overview
On your turn, offer a painting using its printed auction type. Resolve the auction and transfer money as required. When the fifth painting by an artist is played, the round ends immediately. Rank the most popular artists, assign their market values and sell purchased paintings to the bank.
Key decisions
Editorial analysis: Before bidding, estimate the painting’s likely round-end value rather than its current popularity alone. Also account for who receives your payment: paying an opponent too much can improve their position even if your own purchase is profitable.
