A Feast for Odin Scoring: Boards, Ships, Livestock & Penalties
A Feast for Odin final scoring combines many positive categories with one major negative category: uncovered penalty spaces on your boards.
Home board and exploration-board penalties
Any negative VP spaces still uncovered on your home board and claimed exploration boards reduce your score. Covering large negative areas efficiently is often worth more than adding a small standalone point source.
Ships and emigration
Ships can carry printed VP and can also be used for emigration. Emigration provides its own point value and changes the long-term food/economic burden associated with that ship.
Livestock and breeding assets
Cattle and sheep score according to their side/state and the base-game scoring reference. Animals that generated repeated breeding value can therefore also contribute final VP.
Silver and other printed points
Add the final value of silver and printed VP from eligible buildings, ships, occupation effects and other scoring components according to the score sheet.
Exploration bonuses can offset their risk
Exploration boards can add strong positive points and recurring bonuses, but only if you cover enough of their negative spaces. Score the positive values and subtract remaining penalties separately.
Highest net total wins
Add all positive scoring categories, then subtract remaining negative spaces and other penalties. Use the official score pad because the game’s scoring is intentionally multi-category.
