How to Play Harmonies: Landscape Tokens, Animals & Habitats

Harmonies is a personal-board spatial puzzle where players draft groups of colored landscape tokens, build a three-dimensional environment and use those features to satisfy Animal card habitat patterns.

Scope: Libellud base game; Harmonies Pulse is excluded.

Choose one landscape-token group

On your turn, take one available group of three landscape tokens from the shared central display and place all three on your personal board following each terrain type’s placement rules.

Terrain types build different structures

Water, fields, trees, mountains and buildings use different spatial/stacking rules and later score differently. Vertical height matters for several terrain features.

Optionally take an Animal card

When permitted, choose an Animal card from the display if you have room for it. Place the card near your board with its Animal cubes on the card as instructed.

Complete habitat patterns

An Animal card shows a required arrangement of terrain colors/heights. When your landscape contains a matching habitat in an allowed orientation, move one Animal cube from that card onto the indicated landscape position.

Each habitat use must follow the card’s restrictions

Animal placement does not consume terrain, but each pattern must be legally matched and cube placement can affect how many times the card can be scored. Follow the card’s printed pattern and cube sequence.

Game end

The game ends when the central landscape supply reaches the base game’s end condition. Finish the round as instructed, then score terrain features and Animal cards.
