How to Play Skymines: Cards, Companies & Lunar Expansion
Skymines is a hand-management and area-expansion game about investing in lunar corporations whose values rise as their presence on the Moon grows.
Scope: Pegasus Spiele base package; campaign/module-specific rules are excluded unless selected at setup.
Plan cards
Choose cards for the round and use their action values, company symbols and special effects to shape expansion and investment.
Expand companies
Place outposts and develop corporate presence outward from existing base stations under the map’s connection rules.
Gain and spend resources
Use resources to support expansion, research, investment and special actions.
Invest in corporations
Acquire shares or improve your stake in companies whose value you expect to increase.
Support scientists
Research/scientist systems provide bonuses and scoring routes separate from pure company expansion.
Company value changes
As companies spread and achieve milestones, their value can increase. The key is owning enough of the company before helping it grow.
Asymmetric powers
Player abilities and optional modules can alter card use, expansion or scoring. Follow only the components active in your setup.
Endgame
When the scenario/base-game end condition is reached, score company investments, research and other final categories.
