Anachrony Essential Edition
Anachrony explained: worker placement, exosuits, time travel, borrowed future resources, asymmetric Paths and evacuation before the final cataclysm.
Lead one of four asymmetric Paths after a future cataclysm is discovered, deploying workers in powered exosuits to gather resources, construct buildings and prepare for evacuation.
Time travel lets you borrow resources from your own future, creating immediate flexibility at the cost of a debt you should later repay by sending those resources back.
Why We Love It
Anachrony turns borrowing into a strategic system. Taking resources from the future can unlock an important turn now, but unresolved paradox risk makes every loan a promise to your later economy.
About Anachrony Essential Edition
Workers have different specialties and are assigned to city actions through exosuits. Buildings add personal action spaces and production abilities.
The timeline advances through eras toward the Impact, after which the capital deteriorates and players race to evacuate while finishing their scoring plans.

Rules overview
Each era begins with timeline and preparation steps, including optional Warp tiles that bring future resources into the present. Players power exosuits, then alternate worker-placement actions in the capital or on personal buildings. Different worker types perform some actions more efficiently. Buildings expand your economy and can support research, recruiting, construction and resource conversion. After the Impact, action spaces begin to collapse and evacuation becomes available. Final scoring rewards buildings, breakthroughs, completed objectives and other Path-specific progress.
Key decisions
Editorial analysis: Warp only when the borrowed resource creates more value now than its future repayment cost. Exosuits are another tempo decision: powering too many wastes resources, but powering too few can leave workers unable to access the shared board when crucial spaces are contested.
