Bus: Complete Edition
Bus explained: spend a finite supply of action markers, build a transit network, develop destinations and deliver passengers before rival bus companies do.
Develop a public-transport network in a growing city where passengers move between homes, offices and pubs according to the time of day.
Why We Love It
Bus turns worker placement into long-term resource management because action markers are permanently spent. Every action used now reduces your flexibility later.
Rules overview
Players assign action markers to expand routes, add buses, add buildings, introduce passengers, transport passengers and manipulate turn order. Actions resolve in a fixed sequence. Passengers only score when your network can deliver them to the destination type required by the current time of day.
Key decisions
Editorial analysis: Route expansion should anticipate future passenger demand rather than only today’s deliveries. Spending too many action markers early can create a strong network with too few actions left to exploit it.
