Dune: Imperium Reveal Turn Rules: Cards, Persuasion & Swords

On your turn in Dune: Imperium, you take either an Agent turn or a Reveal turn. Once you Reveal, you are finished taking turns for the rest of that round’s Player Turns phase.

When can you Reveal?

You can take a Reveal turn even if you still have Agents available. You are not required to place every Agent first.

What cards do you reveal?

Reveal all cards remaining in your hand. For those cards, use their Reveal boxes, not their Agent boxes.

Can one card use both boxes?

No. A card used for an Agent turn used its Agent box and is already in play; it is not revealed again for its Reveal effect that round.

Persuasion

Total the Persuasion generated by your revealed cards and other applicable effects. Spend it to acquire Imperium Row cards. Normally, acquired cards go to your discard pile.

Sword icons

Swords in Reveal boxes add combat strength if you have troops in the current Conflict. They can change the combat standings before the Combat phase.

Can you take another turn after Revealing?

No. After your Reveal turn, skip your remaining opportunities while other players finish their Agent and Reveal turns.

Plot Intrigue cards

Plot Intrigue cards can be used at the allowed timing during your own Agent or Reveal turns. Combat Intrigue cards use their separate Combat-phase timing.
