Everdell Destination Card Rules: Open Locations, Workers & the Meadow
Destination cards are Construction or Critter cards that provide worker-placement locations inside a city.
Can you place a worker on your own Destination?
Yes. You may place a worker on any legal Destination card in your own city if the location is available.
Can you use another player’s Destination?
Only if the card shows the Open symbol. When you place a worker on an opponent’s Open Destination, the owner gains 1 point token from the supply.
Can you place a worker on a Destination card in the Meadow?
No. The published FAQ confirms that Destination cards must be in a city before they can be visited.
Do all Destination cards allow opponents to visit?
No. Only Destinations with the Open symbol may be visited by opponents.
Does the worker stay there?
Yes. Like other deployed workers, it remains on the Destination until you retrieve workers through Prepare for Season or another effect.
What if a Destination is already occupied?
Follow the normal exclusive/shared location rules and the card’s own text. A standard exclusive location cannot receive another worker while occupied.
