7 Wonders Duel Expansions Guide: Pantheon vs Agora
7 Wonders Duel has two major expansions: Pantheon and Agora. Pantheon adds Divinities and Grand Temples; Agora adds the Senate, Senators, Conspiracies and a new instant-win condition through political supremacy.
7 Wonders Duel expansion comparison
| Expansion | Main change | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Pantheon | Gods, Pantheon board, Grand Temples | Players wanting more tactical timing and powerful one-off abilities |
| Agora | Senate board, Senators, Conspiracies, political victory | Players wanting more direct control and another victory path |
Pantheon
Pantheon lets players select Divinities during Age I and invoke them later through a new Pantheon board. Five mythologies focus on different strategic themes, while Grand Temples replace Guilds in Age III.
Agora
Agora adds the Senate, Senators and Conspiracy cards. It also introduces Political Supremacy as another immediate victory condition alongside military and scientific supremacy.
Can Pantheon and Agora be combined?
Yes. Repos Production explicitly states that the two expansions are compatible.
Which expansion should you add first?
Pantheon is the cleaner first expansion if you want powerful tactical options without adding another instant-win track. Agora changes the victory landscape more dramatically because Senate control can end the game immediately.
