Dune: Imperium – Uprising
Combine deck building, worker placement, faction influence and conflict on Arrakis, with spies, sandworms and a separate six-player team mode.
Use cards both to place Agents and to build a stronger deck while competing for faction influence and conflict rewards on Arrakis.
Spies alter access to board spaces, sandworms can multiply conflict value, and a separate team mode supports larger games without turning the design into simple free-for-all play.
Why We Love It
Uprising keeps Dune: Imperium’s dual-use cards but raises the tactical ceiling with spies and sandworms. Those systems create more ways to access blocked spaces and swing conflicts.

What is Dune: Imperium – Uprising?
Dune: Imperium – Uprising is Paul Dennen’s 2023 stand-alone strategy game set in the Dune universe. Current publisher support covers solo, two-player, standard multiplayer and six-player rules.
The design combines worker placement with deck building: cards both send agents to board spaces and provide reveal effects when kept in hand.
How the game works
Players deploy agents to gain resources, build faction influence and prepare for each round’s conflict, then reveal remaining cards for persuasion and other effects before combat resolves.
Uprising introduces spies and sandworms and includes a separate six-player team format in addition to the core competitive game.
The decisions that define it
Every card has competing uses. Sending it with an agent may unlock an important board action, while saving it for the reveal phase can improve purchasing power or combat.
Conflict timing is equally important: committing troops and resources to every battle can leave you unable to contest the rounds that matter most.
Who is it for?
Choose Uprising if you want an interactive strategy game where deck construction, board timing and combat pressure are tightly linked.
Choose Dune: Imperium if you specifically want the original board and card pool.
