Sky Team Win & Loss Conditions: Runway, Traffic, Axis & Brakes
Sky Team is won only by reaching the runway with the aircraft fully configured for a safe landing. Several mistakes can cause immediate failure before the final round.
Win by landing on the runway at the correct time
Your approach marker must reach the airport/runway during the final landing sequence rather than stopping short or passing the required position.
Traffic must be cleared
If your aircraft moves into a position still occupied by another aircraft on the approach track, the team loses. Radio actions remove those hazards before you reach them.
Axis must remain within the safe range
The difference between pilot and co-pilot axis dice tilts the aircraft. Exceeding the cockpit’s permitted tilt creates a loss condition.
Final speed must be compatible with landing configuration
Gear and flap deployment change the safe speed requirements. The engine result on landing must fall within the permitted range shown by the cockpit state.
Landing gear and flaps must be fully deployed
All required gear and flap switches must be completed before touchdown. Missing checklist items make a successful landing impossible.
Brakes must meet the landing requirement
The brake track must be developed enough to stop the aircraft at the final speed. A runway arrival without sufficient braking is still a failed landing.
Scenario modules add extra failure conditions
Wind, fuel, ice and other modules add their own requirements. Apply those on top of the base landing checklist.
