Heat: Pedal to the Metal Expansions Guide: Heavy Rain, Tunnel Vision, Rocky Roads & Legends
Heat: Pedal to the Metal currently has four supported expansions in the Days of Wonder line: Heavy Rain, Tunnel Vision, Rocky Roads and Legends. The first three add new tracks and player components; Legends upgrades the automated-driver system.

Heavy Rain
Heavy Rain adds Japan and Mexico. Japan’s puddles make slowing before corners harder; Mexico emphasizes multiple chicanes. It also adds a seventh-player set and new Air Intake upgrades.
Tunnel Vision
Tunnel Vision adds two more tracks and another complete player set, expanding the race to seven human players when combined with the base game.

Rocky Roads
Rocky Roads adds South Africa and Germany. Gravel and chicanes put more pressure on speed control and Heat-card management, and the box again includes an extra player set.
Legends
Legends replaces the simple idea of filler bots with a deeper automated-driver system. AI cars can slipstream, clear corners more intelligently and use power-ups at adjustable difficulty.
Which Heat expansion should you get first?
Heavy Rain is the cleanest first purchase because it adds two strong tracks plus a seventh-player set and integrates directly with the base Championship system. Choose Legends first if solo play is your main reason for owning Heat.
