Everdell Bellfaire Expansion Guide: Player Powers, Market & 5–6 Players
Everdell: Bellfaire is a modular expansion built to add variety without forcing one large new subsystem into every game. It also supplies the components needed to play Everdell with 5–6 players.
What Bellfaire adds
- Support for 5–6 players
- 15 Player Power cards
- A shared Market board
- Garland Award tiles
- New Special Event goals
- Additional player boards, critter meeples and support components
Player Powers
Player Powers give each player an asymmetric ability from the start. This creates different priorities without changing the normal worker-placement and city-building structure.
The Market
The Market is a shared location that creates changing resource opportunities. Its state changes over the game, giving players another contested place to convert workers into useful materials.
Garland Awards
Garland Awards provide public competitive goals. They create another layer of end-game planning without replacing the normal point systems.
Special Events
Bellfaire includes new Special Event goals that expand the shared objectives available in the base game.
5–6 player support
Tycoon Games explicitly positions Bellfaire as the expansion that provides what you need for larger Everdell groups.
Do you need to use every module?
No. Bellfaire is modular: you can add one or more systems depending on how much change your group wants.
Who should add Bellfaire?
Bellfaire is one of the easiest first Everdell expansions because it adds flexibility rather than a heavy side board. It is especially useful if your group needs five- or six-player support.
