Everdell Expansions Guide: Pearlbrook, Spirecrest, Bellfaire, Newleaf & Mistwood
Everdell has five major expansion boxes in its established base-game line: Pearlbrook, Spirecrest, Bellfaire, Newleaf and Mistwood. They do very different jobs, from adding a new board and resource economy to introducing weather, asymmetric player powers, a railway station and a more developed solo/2-player opponent.

Pearlbrook
Pearlbrook adds a river board, Frog Ambassadors, pearl resources and major Wonders. It creates a parallel scoring path and gives workers another part of the board to explore.
Spirecrest
Spirecrest adds an expedition beyond Everdell, with weather effects and large critter cards. It raises pressure because seasonal travel introduces additional constraints and costs.
Bellfaire
Bellfaire is modular rather than one large subsystem. It adds asymmetric player powers, a market and other modules and is a practical choice for groups that want more variety without a new side board dominating the game.
Newleaf
Newleaf adds the train station, visitor cards and a large amount of new Critter and Construction content. It is the strongest choice when your priority is more card combinations and a busier shared economy.
Mistwood
Mistwood centers on Nightweave, an automated opponent for solo and two-player games. It is much more targeted than the other expansions and is most valuable for those player counts.
Which Everdell expansion should you get first?
Bellfaire is a low-friction first addition; Newleaf is stronger when you want substantially more card content; Spirecrest is better after the base game already feels comfortable.
